Pilates is a series of core exercises that focus on creating strength, flexibility and balance. It fuses the mind and body by demanding extreme concentration, control and knowledge of movement. Developed over seventy years ago by a German named Joseph Pilates, this study of human anatomy and movement was years ahead of its time. The benefits and application of Pilates’ system are limitless.
